In 2015, I developed a city bus concept based on a specific technical choice: moving the engine to the side, next to the driver. This configuration isn’t a mere engineering detail, but a design approach that redefines hierarchies and flows: it simplifies maintenance, allows for the cab to be isolated, and frees up the rear volume to transform it into a large glass surface. The result is a vehicle that does more than simply transport: it showcases the city, turning the journey into a continuous perceptual experience.
View of a contemporary urban axis: compact proportions, continuous surfaces and extensive glazing for an image consistent with the new urban mobility.
Rear view: the freeing up of the volume at the rear allows us to imagine a backdrop as a large full-height window overlooking the city.
