Suri

2011 Whirlpool Tub Series
Albatros System (now Tresse)

Suri was created in 2011 for Albatros System as a gesture of subtraction: removing the hydromassage from the technical realm and reintroducing it to a furnishing element, capable of bringing calm and coherence to the bathroom space. The design reduces the sign until the quality of the gesture emerges: a continuous edge, soft connections between surfaces, and a controlled geometry that makes the volume monolithic, yet never aggressive.

Strategy

Reduce the visual noise of the whirlpool: push the technology back and let the form define the experience. Build a coherent and recognizable family, capable of crossing different typologies without changing tone or losing its identity.

Design

A continuous edge as a signature, wide rays and connections that guide body and light. Controlled proportions, monolithic yet gentle surfaces, designed to inhabit very different contexts. The satin finish of PMMA enhances touch and perception, remaining within the perimeter of efficient industrial production.

Results

A comprehensive series, from 170x70 cm to corner, asymmetrical, and freestanding versions, with a stable identity. A premium feel at a reasonable price, and a catalog longevity that has spanned brand transitions, including Tresse, without losing its recognizability.
